Before MedIT came into being, media production at the Faculty was undertaken by Instructional Media Services (IMS). It was a prolific and professional production house that operated from about 1967 to 2007. Check out these public service announcements from 1975, shot at and in the vicinity of U of T.

Since 2007, MedIT (formerly Discovery Commons) has been providing a wide range of information technology (IT) services to the learners, faculty members, and staff of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, and this site has been created to help you navigate the multi-faceted realm of IT.
